Navigant Credit Union Names State’s Best Credit Union at 2025 Rhode Island Community Choice Awards

Navigant Credit Union also secures recognition in the ‘Best Financial Planning Services” category.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (September 9, 2025) – For the sixth consecutive year, Navigant Credit Union has been named Rhode Island’s “Best Credit Union,” clinching 1st place in the category at this year’s Rhode Island Community Choice Awards.

The Community Choice Awards, presented by the Providence Journal and determined by votes collected from Rhode Islanders living and working across the state, honor the state’s top businesses and organizations. Navigant Credit Union has received the “Best Credit Union” distinction every year since 2019.

In addition to its recognition as the top credit union, Navigant Credit Union also placed among the top three in the “Best Financial Planning Services” category.

“These awards, decided by our own neighbors and members, speak volumes about the trust we’ve fostered across Rhode Island,” said Navigant Credit Union President/CEO Kathy Orovitz. “We’re deeply grateful for the recognition and, above all, proud of our team’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the financial well-being of the families, businesses and communities we serve across Rhode Island and beyond.”
