SMITHFIELD, R.I. (September 16, 2026) – Navigant Credit Union announced it has promoted Annette Niemczyk to Senior Vice President, Director of Technology, recognizing her leadership in modernizing the credit union’s technology infrastructure, strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities, and advancing its approach to automation and artificial intelligence.
Niemczyk joined Navigant Credit Union in 2022 and has over twenty years of technical experience. Under her leadership, Navigant has modernized its IT infrastructure, revamped its service desk philosophy, and built out an internal Security Operations Center in partnership with her team. Her collaborative, high-performing leadership has helped improve technology services for Navigant’s employees and members alike.
“Annette has demonstrated tremendous leadership in building a strong technology foundation for Navigant and consistently looks for ways to improve how we serve our employees and members,” said Navigant Credit Union EVP / Chief Digital and Operations Officer Jon Roberts. “This expanded role recognizes the impact she has already made and positions her to lead how we advance automation, artificial intelligence, and new technology infrastructures in the future.”
Recently, Niemczyk has championed Navigant’s artificial intelligence initiatives working across departments to ensure Navigant is taking a system-wide approach to technology integration. Her expanded responsibilities build upon that momentum. Niemczyk holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the New England Institute of Technology.
