Newly established, annual end-of-year philanthropic campaign aims to address pressing issues facing Rhode Island families
SMITHFIELD, R.I. (Jan. 14, 2026) – In its first year, Navigant Credit Union and the Navigant Credit Union Charitable Foundation’s ‘Season of Giving‘ campaign helped raise more than $65,000 to address food insecurity across Rhode Island.
During the Season of Giving, held from Noviembre 14 through the end of 2025, the Navigant Credit Union Charitable Foundation committed to directing all donations to Feed RI, a Rumford-based nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing surplus food to relieve hunger and revive local communities. Throughout this time period, the Foundation raised $35,412 and Navigant Credit Union made the decision to contribute $30,000 in matching funds, bringing the total donation to Feed RI to $65,412.
Moving forward, Navigant Credit Union plans to make the Season of Giving an annual philanthropic initiative administered through the Foundation.

Established in 2017, the Navigant Credit Union Charitable Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 charity dedicated to making impactful financial contributions to support locally based organizations focused on the Foundation’s three core pillars: education, social services and public health, safety and well-being.
The Foundation has awarded nearly $2.5 million in charitable grants since its inception.
