SMITHFIELD, R.I. (Feb. 23, 2026) – Navigant Credit Union announced today that Joseph R. Perroni, President and CEO of Delta Dental Rhode Island, has been appointed to its board of directors.
Perroni brings with him over 30 years of experience as a business leader in Rhode Island. Prior to his current role as President and CEO, Perroni served as Delta Dental of Rhode Island’s Chief Sales and Business Relations officer, leading various teams in new business sales, client retention, broker relations, professional relations and competitive intelligence.

Throughout his career, Perroni has been recognized for his longstanding commitment to the Rhode Island business community, including recognition as the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce Ben G. Mondor Award recipient and the Providence Business News Leaders & Achievers Award.
Outside of work, Perroni volunteers his time on numerous external boards, councils and committees throughout the state. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Perroni currently lives in Bristol.
